Story
I am cycling 450 miles over 4 days through Scotland, climbing 29,030ft which is the height of Mount Everest. Kindly sponsored by Space Outdoor.
The reason I chosen BHF and Midlands Air Ambulance, is simply because they are both charities that do a great job and we all may need to rely on.
On a personal note I lost two great friends during my earlier years to heart disease. One was just 20 years old, Jez Green, and the other aged 30 years old, Simon Hayward. Both appeared fit and healthy and both died without warning - two great young people lost but not forgotten.
I would appreciate your support in raising money for the British Heart Foundation and the Air Ambulance.

5 years agoRide completed !!!!!! It was tough but the training I did over the 6 months prior, plus messages of support and the donations kept me moving. The fundraising page will close at the end of the month and I'll be sending the money raised to the two charities. Thanks everyone.

We have now completed our epic trip around the Scottish Highlands. It was a really tough ride. Days 1 & 2 were both huge distance with as much climbing as the Tour de France pros would complete. Not bad for some old amateurs. Our target for the charities was £2500 we smashed it
