We're raising money to put towards a memorial bench in Andy's memory. He sadly passed away in November, and due to inability to contact family members, he unfortunately won't get the funeral service he deserves. We would like to get an engraved bench to put in one of his favourite places - The Horse & Groom smoking area! You could always find Andy there, with a pint of Amstel, watching the world go by. Andy was one in a million, he taught me many things, not sure if they were all true though. He was forever helping people by collecting raffle prizes, raising money and buying presents for new borns, birthdays and Christmas. He will be sadly missed.

5 years agoAndy’s bench is now in the H&G beer garden. Thank you again for everyone’s support with this 💙 I miss Andy’s frequent weather reports, his horrible choice in sweets from the market, doing the crossword together and his ability to cheer me up and annoy me all at the same time. It seems quite fitting that today we removed Amstel from the Royal William, Andy would be outraged.

5 years agoThank you so much to everyone that donated! We have reached our target which means we can now order the memorial bench. I’ll post some pictures when it arrives 😍 I know Andy would have loved this, that he touched so many peoples lives. He was such a great man and is sorely missed.
