I am raising money for two charities close to my heart:

1. Priestley smith school - this is a school for visually impaired children and is where our cousin Oscar attends. Oscar is only 7 and was diagnosed last year with early-onset retinal dystrophy. At the moment he still has some sight but is likely to lose this completely at some point. He has been very brave, and started this brand new school full time in January this year. They are already doing fabulous things with Oscar that more closely meet his needs, but they could do with more money to continue this great work.

2. Cancer research - too many people in our lives have lost their lives to this terrible disease, including Auntie Elaine most recently. I want to do my bit and help them find a cure for this horrid disease.

So... what am I going to do to raise money? I am running (just call me forrest gump!)...

24 March - Coventry half marathon

7 April - Manchester marathon

11 May - Dukeries 40 mile ultra-marathon (Sherwood Forest)

Rather than ask for donations for each event, i’m doing it all in one this year, so please give generously.
