On the 27th April I shall be running the 5km Shropshire Mud Run in order to raise vital funds for Shrewsbury Epilepsy Support Group.

This will be a huge challenge for me & has already taken me 6 months of training to run this far. This is because running triggers my seizures. There is no doubt that I will be having multiple seizures throughout the run but luckily I have a team who are are able to help me (The Purple Warriors).

Shrewsbury Epilepsy Support Group helps support those who are affected by epilepsy, educates the community about the condition, raises awareness of epilepsy , & provides monthly support groups designed for children & their families. At these we do a different, fun activity for everyone. They act as a break, away from the isolation & depression epilepsy can bring to their lives.

With enough fundraising we would like to offer these activities completely for free so that anyone is able to join in (not just those able to afford it).
