    Story

Angie Clark and Wendy Meikle will be abseiling down Stopford House on March 23rd in aid of the Mayor of Stockport’s charity fund. The building is 8 storeys high so at least they will have a good view of Stockport before they give themselves to gravity.

Well I did it!! It was a bit scary at the top but once I got going I found it pretty good fun, though I could have done with longer legs as I was leaning back so far I couldn't always reach the wall. My landing wasn't exactly dignified (I ended up flat on my back) but it gave everyone a laugh. Thanks for supporting me.
