I am raising money for my cousin Emma’s wonderful little boy, Alfred, who is living with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Any money I can raise will go towards helping Alfred get the support and importantly the physiotherapy he needs in order to develop his movement, muscle control and ultimately give him the best chance of moving on his own, unaided one day.

As a comparatively small challenge, to raise funds I will be running the London Marathon on 28th April. Although this will be my third marathon I can confirm that they don’t get any easier… Training is in full swing and, while I’m definitely looking forward to the big day, I also can’t wait to have my Sunday mornings back and free from those long runs!

Reaching my target for Alfred and his parents, Emma and George, would mean a great deal to me and even more to them, so I would be very grateful for any donations, however small. Alfred is aiming to reach some big physical milestones this year and I would love to help him get there with your support!
