These Streets, Stop The Violence !!!

is a project developed and promoted by fightstar promotions and formerly Sweeneys gym, its aimed at youths and young adults with anger ,frustration, fear,and discontentment issues, wich can very easily turn into rage and consequently,acts of violence, usually against innocent victims,who are easily targeted, through no fault of there own, normally associated with things like, Racism,Bigotry,Domestic violence,homophobia, to name but a few.

we have found through our various case studys, that most of the kids who practice combat sports, ie boxing,judo.karate.muay thai,K1,kick boxing, and more relevant today,MMA.which fightstar promotions who have now launched this campaign currently promote and manage fighters of this particular sport. we also promote all other combat sports as we believe, they all contribute to health and wellbeing for these youths , they also learn discipline, composure, to control there aggression even when under attack themselves.

In 4 previous case study"s done by the head coach at Sweeney"s gym,.Paisley,Scotland, who coached boxing at that time, it was found to have a massive impact on these for kids with AUTISM and ASPERGERS, these kids faced there fears, weather it be sight ,, sound,weight loss, aggression, unrational or otherwise, they all improved in family circumstances,social settings and finally just being able to make friends with someone was a massive achievement for some of them.

This money would help to get these type of kids and more involved in combat sports of some degree,they would not have to compete,or even practice sparring,the basic training of hitting punch bags, focus pad"s , circuit training, running and skipping rope is what we found helped the most.

The ripple effect this would have in all our community"s if promoted properly would be massive, our over all aim at fightstar would be to pay for membership for these type of gyms to be easily accessed,giving the kids effectively free combat sports coaching,we would also like to develop and start anew , Sweeney"s gym"s across the UK, europe, Ireland,Middle East, Asia, Latin America, America and basicaly all over the world, eventually, letting these kids and others train for free, Thank You, Thank You.Thank You, Respect to Norrie Sweeney who was the man who started all this almost 50 year ago.
