Hi everyone :)

This summer I will be spending two weeks in Lusaka, Zambia with the hope and excitement of making a genuine impact in the lives of the local communities.

This effort will be led by HOPE - Mission Zambia, a wonderful non-profit charity which aims towards the relief of poverty and advancement of education within this part of Africa.

Through my work with them as well as your generous donations, we will be able to provide relief from poverty through the provisions of food and clothing to children in the orphanage. We will also provide funds for educational resources and through manual labour work we will be able to provide better infrastructure for the communities. In such a way, our joint efforts should hopefully result in an overall higher standard of living for the people of Lusaka, by creating more opportunity and job prospects.

I feel honoured to be part of this experience and I look forward to the challenging yet rewarding times to come.
