The idea for ARC-Edinburgh came about in 2014, when we (Anne Marie Mann and Ella Robbins) decided to enter the Edinburgh apps competition. We saw the chance to make Edinburgh council services work for the people in addiction recovery by putting an app in their hand to help them track progress, boost motivation and view the recovery support services available. We won the competition and officially launched the app in May 2016. You can read more on our website https://arcapp.co.uk/

Winning the competition gave us the funds to build the app and get it up and running. Since 2016 it has been accessed 25,000 times and has 200 regular monthly users. We are now looking for funds to allow us to make necessary updates to the app and to keep it current and maintained in the app store. We’d be really grateful if you could help us keep the app up and running for those that have come to rely on it and for those who will use it in the future.
