Our son archie was diagnosed with severe autism and global development delay a year ago so he is non verbal and has no idea of the world around him,we have fought hard for the last year to do everything we can to get him the best possible help that we are capable of.
He has been accepted in to a special school that is one of the only ones around that can cater for his needs and hopefully help him develop as much as he can in time,but the problem we have is his travel as the school is 40 minutes away from us and me and my partner do not drive,he is 3 and a half years old but the government wont help with funding until he is 5 we have contacted local taxi firms and for the 2 days a week he will be going for the 4 journeys a day we are looking at having to pay £200 per week which impossible for us and there is no other way we can find to make this happen,archie really needs all the help he can get at the earliest point to help to try and get him to develop earlier if he can to have some sort of quality in life,so we are reaching out to everyone through just giving to please help us if you can to get our son to where he needs to be to give him a chance in life,thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everybody who helps along the way.
