    Story

MS, arthritis and dementia have affected, and is still affecting at least one member of my family. Research is desperately needed to help cure these diseases as they cause so much pain, physical and emotional. Arthritis particularly is very much misunderstood, so many people think that you have joint pain, swelling etc, but it goes so much further than that. My daughter has suffered from arthritis since the age of eight and she suffers from Ankylosing Sponylitis, chronic juvenile arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and the swelling has now attacked her eyes leaving her partially sighted. There isn‘t a joint in her body that hasn’t been affected and it broke my heart when I saw the scan that highlighted all the parts of her body where arthritis is present, she is riddled with It. We must help find a way for researchers to find a cure and that is why I am asking for help in raising funds; thank you.
