The Armed Forces Major Events Team N.E.Lincs. team of volunteers work tirelessly to source funding and host this FREE spectacular event each year. In our current economic climate, funding is increasingly difficult to secure, which is why we're asking for your support.

Armed Forces Day 2018 will be held in Cleethorpes, as part of a full weekend celebrating the important works done by our Armed Forces, Reservists, Veterans and their families. With the 'build-up' starting on Friday 29th June 2018, leading to Armed Forces Day on Saturday 30th June 2018, we have a FREE programme of events including parades, air displays, ground displays, fireworks and entertainment involving cadets, veterans and service personnel to entertain all the family. Sunday 1st July will be dedicated to the celebration of RAF 100 in Lincolnshire with flying displays over Cleethorpes promenade. Each year tens of thousands of people visit Armed Forces Weekend in Cleethorpes, from all areas of the country, to soak up the atmosphere and join in the celebrations.

This year we are looking at new ways to raise awareness and funding, with the introduction of 'Blighty' our mascot bear and 'Win a flight in a Spitfire' raffle. (Details can be found on our website and facebook page)

Over the past 10 years Cleethorpes has hosted events celebrating our Armed Forces Services, both past and present, and we would love to continue this celebration long into the future. With your kind donation, no matter how small, we can continue to host this wonderful FREE event for everyone to enjoy and show thanks to those that help serve and protect our country.
