I am raising funds for Harlow’s Helping Hand, a truly worthwhile charity who provide financial help towards the cost of a funeral and/or headstone for parents who have lost a baby or child. They don't receive any government support, so rely purely on donations. The stories of some of the affected families really inspired me to do all that I can to help. No parent should ever have to go through losing there child but on top of that having to worry about covering the cost of a funeral which can run in to the thousands of pounds must be terrible and extra stress they should nt be dealing with. I have already seen in the small ways that my work have raised funds for the charity how much this means to them and how much it means to the parents they have helped and it has pushed me to do this challenge.
