Since founding in 2011, Allstars & Stripes Cheer and Dance (ASCD) has been the heart of cheerleading in Moray bringing sass, joy and sparkle to the local Elgin community.

Throughout the last decade, ASCD Cheerleaders and Dancers have not only performed at countless local events but have become nationally competitive athletes. With over 100 current members, we have won numerous Regional and National titles.

In addition to this National success, the true heart of ASCD is striving to provide entertainment and support to schools and community organisations wherever possible. To achieve this ASCD has provided free sessions, put on show stopping performances at charity events and offered help at bag packing and other fundraising activities - all of which our athletes love to do with a smile.

While ASCD has had huge success since first starting, due to the love and support from the local community, our club is expanding rapidly. As a result, we are struggling to provide the necessary equipment and training space in order to fully support all of our current athletes and be able to bring in even more members to the ASCD family.

We have recently secured our own building which will become the home of ASCD, providing an amazing space for all those taking part in Cheerleading and Dance in the local area to train in and enjoy the benefits of a fully equipped space. This will allow us to continue growing our competitive programme, as well as adding more classes and sessions aimed at supporting the community.

Although we have collected some equipment and regularly host fundraising events, we are looking for some help. As Cheerleading is still in the process of becoming a recognised sport, the grants available for us to apply to are extremely limited.
