We are a group of people who like to support others . We go out once a week to give a hot meal and drink to are street friends to offer someone to talk to and someone who listens . We try when we have the money available to buy sleeping bags essentials for living and surviving on the streets especially in the winter months .As winter is coming we want to push for 100 sleeping bags as well as 100 tents warm boots warm coats hats scarfs gloves .back packs flasks underwear toiletries. Also to have some were to store as my garage cant take no more also we collect toys to give to children who go without and families needing help everyone deserves a present from Santa n thought of by others . If we can we would like to be able to give are street friends a back pack with the above in and a selection box each .I thank you all as a community I know it is hard in today's society with money no matter how small a donation it all helps . Thank you so much from everyone we support every week .we all as members of a fantastic team of caring individuals have moments you remember for ever . I did donations at xmas for families I watched to kids fight over who got the most oranges I was shocked something I all ways have in my home . And one xmas I remember going to see fenwicks window it was ice cold . This guy in his 30s in a door way trying to keep warm n dry . I sat n spoke n had a coffee with him he explained I was the first person he had spoken to in a.few days.how lonely not only sleeping rough but actually feeling no one cares . He had 10 pound in his pocket I gave him 20 to get a bnb which he did . He thanked me for the one nyr of a comfy bed a warm place warm food . I could cry we.take a lot for granted but that made me stop n think . No matter how small a donation every bit helps .
