Not sure where to start with our story but will give it my best shot!! As a family we have been helping my dad fight his battle with diabetes for many years,sadly the last few years have been harder than anything we have ever gone through! My dad is a hero in ways i could never write in words, the father and granda he is warms my heart and he is so special!! We recently got the devastating news my dad is terminally ill, the words broken heart dont seem strong enough for how we feel. He fights with strength and courage always remaining positive and upbeat for us when many would have given up!!!

He recently said to me i would have loved to have gone on a cruise!!! It crushed me to think he missed out and my mind went into overdrive and i thought we will get dad on a cruise!

He needs a team of dialysis nurses with him which cost over £4,500!! And i guess im just asking if anyone can spare anything at all to help with this medical bill it will never be forgotten, this is the first thing ive ever heard my dad say he would like to do in 30 years, he is normally content seeing others happy!!

Over the years my dad gave up so much time to youths football he loved the game and loved helping the kids achieve goals!! At 59 years of age i cant help but feel cheated out of life for my dad!!! But he is so incredible and always positive!!!

My dad got put on thr transplant list 3 years ago i remember it like it was yesterday, filled with hope for the future we really believed in a happy outcome but sadly he developed bone marrow failure and was taken off the list a year ago!! He now has kidney failure, heart failure and bone marrow failure!!

Ive learnt from this ” let your family know you love them, look after each other, help when you can and most importantly NEVER give up”!! Love isnt love until you give it and show it!!! Without it we have nothing!!!💗
