Fernwood foxes are a local football club in the Newark on Trent area. They have teams ranging from u8's through to u17's.

The club are a non profit association, but to continue to offer many local children the opportunity and safe environment to enjoy football, and purchase necessary equipment and supplies, we need to raise additional funds throughout the year.

My eldest son has played for the club for 12 months and I have recently volunteered my time to assist in coaching the same group. Clubs like these are vital to offering young children a safe place to enjoy a hobby they love and join a group of similar aged children on a social level.
On top of providing the necessary equipment we also try to arrange events for the families of children connected to the club and this can only be achieved through money raised.

I have challenged myself to complete the Sheffield half marathon on April 14th 2019 to help raise money to go towards providing opportunities for young children within the Fernwood Foxes club.
