The root of the tree - our mother. The place where it all began has led us sisters to return to Sylhet in our motherland; Bangladesh. Kishori Mohan Girls High School, established in 1887 was the house of knowledge for my mother in the early 70’s; she loved learning the likes of Rabrindranath Tagore and the depths of true World History, till one day her family could no longer afford to educate their daughters. In this present time, Noyasarak has not changed much. Many girls whom are a mirror of our mother are living the same lives almost 50 years later. For this reason, we have decided to revisit our ancestral home but this time with help in our hands. It would be an honour to be able to provide these girls with the luxuries we let pass us by in our everyday living.
