Over 100 countries in the world are more densely forested than the UK.

As a country we talk a good talk on the environment, but on a basic level we are far behind many other countries in the world.

Trees are nature's carbon sinks. More trees means better air quality. More trees means we get closer to our goal of being a carbon-neutral nation.

When you drive around Wales one thing stands out, if you are interested in nature that is: we have vast amounts of land which is neither dedicated to arable or livestock farming and is completely devoid of trees. We want to change that.

Our goal is to purchase cheap parcels of land which cannot be used for building or farming, but which would support trees and to plant trees by the thousand, so that future generations benefit from this work.

This initial crowdfunding effort would allow us to purchase 5 acres and plant a thousand saplings.

When we have completed our first project we will move on to our next.
