I am not a runner. In fact, I have always been adverse to exercise and anyone who knows me will be surprised to hear that I have decided to run the 5k Zombie Run 2018 at Newbury Showground. I would like to use the run to raise money for a truly worthwhile cause - Newbury Soup Kitchen. Newbury has roughly 50 rough sleepers at the moment and Meryl and her team do a fantastic job at supporting the community by running a Soup Kitchen on Thursday evenings with limited resources. The donations will go to the Soup Kitchen to be put towards purchasing food, tents, sleeping bags etc.
