Story
On Sunday 2nd September, at four weeks old, Ayda was diagnosed with Meningitis. Thankfully, after a very worrying and stressful two weeks, we are extremely relieved to say she has made a full recovery. We can not thank Princess Alexandra hospital enough, from the staff working in Childrens A&E to all the Doctors, Consultants and Nurses on Dolphin Ward. We are so grateful for their quick response, and the dedication and care Ayda received from each and everyone of them.
Tom and I were both lucky enough to stay with Ayda throughout her time on Dolphin Ward, but that isn’t the case for everyone. PAH are currently trying to raise money for new and improved ’parent beds’ so more Mums and Dads can have a better nights sleep during stressful times. At around £800.00 each this is difficult. We said to Dolphin Ward when we left that we would get a bed for them. This is the least we can do, I can’t let them down. Please donate.
Thank you so much. We hope none of you ever have to use them xxxx
