Story
Ayr Pipe Band Society are the towns only pipe band and are dedicated to furthering the talents of current pipers and drummers as well as promoting the traditional talent of piping and drumming to persons young and old through the free tuition we offer.
As we are a competing 3b band most if not all money raised throughout a year is consumed by the constant fees and upkeep of the band kit as well as travel. As such being able to set aside money for a Bass Drum, Tenor drums and Snare drums is practically impossible.
Thus we we are hoping to appeal to the generous nature of anyone willing to help the band and the young drummers of tomorrow, progress in the art of traditional Scottish music.
