Almost 100 people are dead by now, in the floods. Many are missing. The rescue operations is stalled due to non stop rain and heavy winds. The scale of this catastrophe is unimaginable. Houses have been submerged, crumbled down, or washed away. People are trapped in their homes. The airport is closed for last many days. Nobody can visit or call their dear ones. In most places the electricity is shut down so people do not have access to phones and internet. The center has offered a meagre amount of 100 crore rupees which is nothing compared to the destruction which has happened.
