Story
*Edit - we have increased our target as people have been so generous we hope we can raise more funds towards their treatment.
We are raising funds to help towards the care and treatment of the 5 Winter bunnies we have just rescued.
The owner done the right thing and approached the rescue for help and we have taken them in.
3 of our wonderful volunteer team went to get the rabbits.
Sadly, all 5 bunnies were not kept in great conditions and therefore have medical conditions needing treated. The main hutch in the photo was used to house the 4 females and the small hutch was housing the male. All of them are interbred and none are neutered or vaccinated. They all have mites, are extremely overweight and at least 2 of them have dentals needing done.
They are now safe at the rescue and getting the care and treatment required.
To neuter, vaccinate and the other treatments for these 5 could be in the region of £1000 so we are hoping to raise at least some towards it.
We appreciate all the help we can get, even a pound will help and to share the cause.

5 years agoUpdate for everyone who has helped towards the winter buns and helped them on their road to recovery. Sadly Blizzard was in a very bad state and we had to say goodbye to him. We were devastated to lose him. The 4 girls have come a long way and are all doing amazingly. Bauble and Bells have now been bonded up to new companions and found forever homes. Blitzen and Black Ice have been bonded together and looking for their forever home and doing great in foster. From all the bunnies we would like to say thank you for helping us, help them :)
