Baby Dave developed a lump on his neck that did not go away despite veterinary care and antibiotics. Unfortunately it developed into an open sore and our most recent vet visit brought the news that Baby Dave likely has cancer. He has had two fine needle aspirations and the samples have been sent away to the lab to determine which type of cancer he has. He will then have scans to discover if it has spread to any of his other internal organs before a treament plan is decided on.

Baby Dave will require an operation in the next couple of weeks to excise the lump from his neck and the margin required to ensure that any cancerous cells are removed will necessitate a skin graft by a specialist surgeon. We are asking for any donations towards the cost of this surgery that you are able to spare.
