On 23rd June the four of us are running the Inflatable 5km in Exeter, to raise money for our peadiatric diabetes team. Well, the children will probably be pulling mum and dad around the course!

On 21st February 2017 Thijs was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. His body had attacked his pancreas so that it no longer produced insulin to enable glucose into his cells. Without treatment his organs would have started shutting down.

Torbay and South Devon Peadiatric Diabetes team continue to help us try to manage this complicated illness. This charitable fund provides opportunities for children with diabetes to meet together through various activities, for support and education.
