To support our mums charity even further, we have decided (stupidly) to do the 5k Marlow Santa Fun Run, taking place on December 2nd.

We are hoping to reach a total of £1000 in donations in order to cover Christmas Dinner for Henley Good Neighbours, whose members would otherwise be alone on Christmas Day.

Our dearest mum's recent passing was a shock and hit us as a family really hard. Barbie was always so full of love, happiness and laughter, and a devoted mother, grandma, daughter and friend. She was such a beautiful person and spirit and will always be with us.

In memory of Barbie, we are raising money for Henley Good Neighbours, who were a great help with supporting her over the last few years. This initiative consists of a team of volunteers who are ready and willing to offer their help to isolated, less mobile and older people living in the Henley area. They support with every day tasks, such as getting people to doctor's appointments, going shopping, gardening and even offer an extra little companionship that we all need.

It is also a charity that was close to Barbie's heart, as her late father was also involved with a similar community driver scheme in his local area. Henley Good Neighbours gave Barbie and us great comfort and a sense of security when she was with the volunteers.
