"The Tau Community of Interfaith Franciscans",

is an on-line Community which has been given the opportunity to seek funding for a Mother House. The Centre for Inter-faith Rest, Renewal, Reflection and Restorative Care & Guidance has been offered at near by Ashton House. Professional help has been offered to seek its funding. In the meantime as Franciscan the present little community, living the life as of Francis and Clare seek the required £5,000 to become a Registered Charity to advance this given vision and now opportunity.

The Monastery of Saint Francis is part of the "Tau Community of Saint Francis!" An interspiritual, Franciscan community, serving & growing in the spirit of Saints Francis and Clare.

They are situated in the South Lakes of Cumbria, also known as the ancient Celtic Kingdom of Rhegged, Northern England,UK.

The tiny (3 person) monastery has been there since 2002.
