Story
As you know Knowsley is one of the most deprived areas in the country and as you know we have lots of underprivileged children within this area. Myself and the rest of the Knowsley/St Helens FA have supported these children for many years by providing them with the opportunity to play football for their district. We r looking to continue this support for the future by doing a sponsored bike ride from Southport to Kirkby. So myself and Billy OCallaghan will be participating in this sponsored event on Saturday 22nd September to raise funds for the association to enable these children to play football for their district sides. If you are able to sponsor us on this bike ride it will be much appreciated as all the monies raised will support these children at present and in the future. Thanks Barry and Billy Knowsley/St Helens FA.

6 years agoKnowsley Schoolboys needs your help. We are the only district to have two European cup winning captains play for us Dennis Mortimer and Phil Thompson. We have also had many other professional players go through our system so Could you please help us raise the funds to keep district football alive and kicking.

Played lots of football in Kirkby during my teenage years (St Kevin’s old boy). Lifeline for the community in so many ways - keep up the good work - will call by next time I’m in the area.
