On 20th April, I will be getting on my speed machine to cycle from London to Brighton to raise money to participate in the 40th Annual Equitas International Human Rights Training Program in Montreal, Quebec.

In June this year, I will be joining over 90 people from around the world to represent Amnesty International UK at this intensive three-week training. The training is intended primarily for representatives of non-governmental organisations, national and regional human rights institutions and government bodies involved in the advancement of human rights through human rights education (HRE). The knowledge and materials gained at the program will be shared with various activists and networks within AI UK.

Now the mundane part...by 29th April, I need to raise $6,195 CAD to cover tuition, educational materials, accommodation and food. If you believe that in the current political climate we need to focus more on human rights, through human rights education, please support me. I accept Pound sterling, or any other currency for that matter!
