Thank you for your interest into the improvements of this local Park. We are a voluntary Community Group, who through fundraising and grants are looking to improve the existing facilities at Baunton Lane Playing Field (Stratton) GL7 2NF. Our aim is to utilise this great space to its full potential, so it can be enjoyed further by ALL the Community.

Through new facilities we will be able to encourage imaginative play and opportunities for people of all ages to connect with nature, have an accessible area to socialise, exercise and benefit from a new and improved local green space.

Responding to the needs of local consultations, working with Town Council Estate Services and other Community Groups, we would look to install a swing for older children, create an area of natural play (wooden structures, climbing, exploring), provide outdoor gym equipment, a community garden, and provide areas to sit with natural shade. Our list is not exhaustive, but we think this would be a great start!
