You absolutely marvellous bunch of generous buggers. You’ve only gone and hit, nay, smashed the target of £500!! £505 to be exact plus another tenner handed to me today. £515 for Peter. I’ve bought him a card and the name of every single one of you will be in the card to show him that people care. I’m meeting him next Tuesday. If he’ll allow me to take any pictures I’ll post them with his consent. I hope your kind gesture gives you a sense of well-being this Christmas. And I hope this starts a turning point for Peter. Karma at its best.

Due to the huge generosity being shown towards this cause I've upped the target to £500. After much deliberation and research into how best to support a homeless person, I think a big part of the money will be converted into things like socks, undies, warm clothing, some treats, dog food for Kaizer, vouchers for Tesco etc to buy food and some cash. Its not for me to dictate how he spends the money but I'd like to at least ensure he has some level of comfort over Christmas. Thank you all again for your kindness towards a stranger xx
