Belle Curran is a 10 year old local girl who is on the waiting list for a double lung transplant. Belle has an interstitial lung disease which Belles mum Stella describes that Belles lungs are not spongey like ours, they are stiff which makes breathing very difficult for Belle. Belle is on a constant supply of Oxygen 24/7 and has to take lots of medication such as steroids, antibiotics, anti inflammatory, anti acid, vitamin D and various puffers which all help to soften the lungs.
