As most of you are aware my dad Les Saunders has stage 3 cancer of the esophagus and is currently receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy for this horrible disease. At the end of this treatment he has to have a major operation to remove the esophagus. He has currently been signed off of work until the end of the year and possibly beyond. He only now receives statutory sick pay. He has to travel from St Austell to truro 5 days a week for treatment and as everyone is aware petrol and parking is expensive and SSP is not a lot of money. As my dad's eldest I feel useless in not being able to help him apart from be there for him, so I am asking everyone I know and who my dad knows to please donate what ever you can to help my dad out. I know everyone struggles with money because of the economy but even if its only 50p to £1....every little donation would be greatly appreciated. I haven't told my dad I've done this for him as. I know he'd only moan lol but I feel this may take some stress off of him...... Thank you xx
