Branching Out Fundraising event 2019!!
Last year the young people at Branching Out completed a 5 kilometre run and raised over £160 towards a couple of items for the communal space at Kings Road.
It was decided by the young people that they wanted a new TV. Because of all the generosity shown they were able to buy a 40 inc television and a games console... Which has been a huge hit!
During a number of tenants meetings, the young people have decided that in 2019 they want to do another fun outdoor activity and have decided......
On a 15 kilometre off road bike ride.
This has been organised with Sherwood Pines, and we are due to do this in March.
We already have over 15 young people ready for the challenge.
The young people wanted to raise some money to replace the broken sofa in the communal lounge.
We intend to use the money at the Furniture Project to get a sofa.
Any donation great all small would be greatly appreciated and will make a impact on the young people we support.

5 years agoThis morning we had 10 young people from both Branching Out Newark and Retford take part in a 9 mile off road bike ride to raise money for a new sofa. They were accompanied by a fully trained instructor (Roy) and Kevin from Branching Out Retford. The young people that took part all said they had a really good time and although they found it challenging it was deffinitly worth it! We wanted just to give a special and massive THANK YOU to Roy Tomlinson from the Leaving Care team
