Having delivered 2 stillborn babys both before 24weeks after my waters breaking. The maternity staff were unbelievable. They took footprints and handprints and photos for us. Things we would never have thought to do. And thanks to a cuddle cot we could take our babies home as the cuddle cot keeps them at the same temperature as the mortuary. But they only have 1 cuddle cot so had any other family faced a tragedy like ours they wouldnt have had the same opportunity to being their babg home like us. We want to raise enough money to buy a couple of cuddle cota for maternity units throughout all of northern ireland.
