At 11pm on Wednesday 1st May, the lady shop keeper was going about her business closing up shop, when an individual burst in brandishing a knife and a hammer. Although the full details have not been released, the lady, was brutally attacked causing horrific injuries to her head arms and face.

Her attacker is in custody and she is home after a week in hospital. Her physical scars may heal, but she will be emotionally and psychologically scarred for life.
