My heart attack-
My name is William Brown and at the time i was 53 yrs old .I had just finished work and was breaking off for the Christmas holidays on the 23rd of December 2012. Late on that afternoon I went up the pub for a few beers and a game of pool . I didn't feel unwell at all ,in fact until this episode I was a keen gym attender and rarely needed to go to the doctors .all I can remember is coming out of the toilets and apon returning to the bar I felt faint and collapsed .The next thing I remember is waking up in the hospital 10 days later . According to witnesses when I collapsed my heart stopped for 45 minutes and I was rushed to hospital. I was placed in an induced coma for 10 days .following this I spent a further 3 months in hospital recovering. They never found the cause of why I had a heart attack. I was fitted with an icd box which is basically a mini defibrillator should this ever happen again .I spent a further 3 months recovering at home before going back to full time work .it is now six years on from this a thankfully I have never had a repeat performance.
