As many of you know our dear friend Veronica has just recently had her bike stolen from her place of work at The Railway Hotel Southend on Sea where she has worked hard and been well known in the community for years since moving from Sweden.

Several days ago Veronica found her bike had been stolen from where she locked it up at work. Everything is being done to locate the missing bike, but in reality police are doing very little so we need to come together as a community and group of friends to help her. I know Veronica better than most people and I know how much she relies on her bike and what a kind and caring person she is. She , like so many good people in this world, does not deserve this.

I don't just want to replace the cheap old rusty bike she had (as much as it was classic and we loved it!) but instead suprise her by taking her to a bike shop with the money we raise and getting her the best bike we can that she will pick out.
