I am starting this fundraiser to raise enough money to buy an electric bike. As many of my friends are aware I have been struggling with health issues for many years epilepsy, arthritis in hips and spine, chronic pain from Fibromyalgia. Blah blah This restricts my life to a great extent and I have had to curtail a lot of activities i previosly enjoyed. The most frustrating restrictions are in my mobility walking long distances i.e. more than 10 mins is a struggle..

I miss going places I miss doing the things I love particularly photography, I miss driving.. public transport is extremely frustrating and inconvenient. i.e. you want to go take some photos of a nice sunset or just for a walk by a river or loch. try getting a bus, it doesn’t work... To be fair the public transport locally is excellent but still not very convenient, never a bus when you need it unless you want to go shopping! So after a lot of thought and research an electric bike to assist me in getting around is the answer and a bonus of some gentle exercise. Basically giving me the freedom to go where I want and take photos etc.I have though about starting a fund raiser for some time but to be honest find it a bit embarrassing and not something that sits easy with me.. but I also know that if any of my friends knew what I was trying to do they would without hesitation help. If you can donate even a small amount it all adds up..

if you are able to donate could you please do so anonymously so others do not feel pressured into donating or feeling that they should give a certain amount..
