Story
We need to raise some money to buy/make some rink dividers for the U9s Billingham Stars Ice Hockey section. When we have a jamboree, ( a jamboree is where we have 4/5 opposing teams with 2 cross ice games being played simultaneous inbetween the blue lines and a rest/drills section in the middle section), we are using roof guttering placed inside down running across the blue lines at the minute. The gutterings main purpose is to keep the pucks in the different sections and also to keep the sections organised. As you can imagine with 50+ players, coaches and pucks on the ice during the 2 hour session the guttering gets knocked about and is always being squared up to keep games and drills running smoothly.
So I/we would like to raise funds to buy padded dividers or have the funds to make the rink dividers to keep our jamborees organised and look professional.
Get the ball rolling myself U9s coach , Pipa Blackburn U9s and some of the players parents are prepared to do the Boxing day dip 2018 at Seaton Carew.
