    Story

The purpose of this project is to manufacture biodegradable alternatives for consumers. Single use plastics are everywhere and too-often the alternative is to pay a really high price to be environmentally friendly OR there is no other option for the consumer at all! If there was always an option, we could make a huge positive impact on our environment without changing our lifestyle at all. Just our brand choice.

I have always believed that the responsibility of making environmentally friendly choices should be down to the companies and manufacturers that make products and should not fall on the consumer.

If there is no realistic option then what are you supposed to do?!

I used certain products for years thinking that they were less harmful than they really were. Often when I shopped around to make the switch to a more environmentally friendly product, my options were, expensive, limited or non-existent.

For years I had been saying to anyone that would listen that this burden should not be on the consumer and reducing your carbon footprint should be easy. The market should be saturated and the choices endless. This is not currently the case so I decided to do something about it.

Starting with one single product. The goal of this start up is to provide reasonable priced options to consumers for as many single use plastics as possible. If there's a product on the market with little to no options other than plastic, we would like to change that.

The U.K. Is making big changes. From straws to coffee cups, we are all aware of it but if we are presented with no other choice what are we supposed to do?

If the choices are easy and the expense is comparable we can make a huge change in the world and reduce the U.K.'s carbon footprint and make sure our earth is sustained for our children and generations to come.

I am young, ambitious, business minded and extremely passionate about the environment. I think that multiple consumer choices on the market will make a huge impact on climate change. I have already spoken to lawyers, business mentors, manufacturers and graphic designers about my plans. The only thing that is holding me back is the financial side.

The donations I am asking for will be used to make an initial order of 2000 units of the first product. Ideally I would like to trademark a brand name but that would cost an extra £1350. Of course if someone hears about this project and is as passionate as myself and would like to fund that, it would be very gratefully accepted. However, the small profit margin that would be made on selling the first batch, could be put towards trade marking a brand name after selling has begun. I also plan to use my own money towards as much as possible.

I have a lot of sales experience door to door, business to business and property sales so would put every part of me into that side of the business and making sure there is enough revenue to expand into other products and making consumer choices easy.
