Story
On the 12th May 2018, Bishopston Comprehensive School year 8 football team went to Oswestry to compete in the Welsh schools football cup final which we won. This is the second successive year this team has won the welsh cup which makes them the best team in Wales for their age. As a result, we have qualified to represent Wales in the SAFIB Allen McKinstry Cup next May in Belfast. We have been tasked with raising £6,500 for the competition next year. The boys have worked really hard this year to get this far and it will be a fantastic opportunity for the pupils who are already winners of Swansea’s School team of the year, Swansea football league and the British Transport Police 5-A-Side tournament. They have various fundraising events planned throughout the year any support would be much appreciated.
