Alicia is participating in an expedition to Borneo in 2020, with Camps International. It is a 4-week expedition and will include community development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation. It will also include the additional element of a five day trek. The trek goes through a variety of different landscapes, from villages and farms with traditional agriculture, to deep jungle.

During the expedition she will be involved in projects which will:

- Raise the educational and living standards of developing communities within a rural district of Borneo

- Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programmes to preserve biodiversity

This expedition is extremely important to her because she will acquire and develop many important life skills such as leadership, communication, team-building, independence and problem solving. In addition, Alicia is suffering from post viral chronic fatigue and it will be an immense test of her physical and mental ability. She is determined to overcome the problems she has had over the last 6 months and complete this expedition, a well rounded, fit and heathy individual.
