We are a small group of parents who have formed the BOSS campaign, our children have severe learning difficulties and profound disabilities, we have been told that there are not enough secondary spaces at their school Abbey Court, where most of the children have been since nursery age. This could result in our children who are already the most vulnerable in our community being sent out of borough or even to residential placements many many miles away!

Our children struggle with change and disruption more than your average child and the relationships they have formed with the staff at Abbey Court is a major contributing factor in their education, again i used the word "education" but this also includes physiotherapy, speech and language, ocupational therapy, hydrotherapy -the list goes on!!

we are campaigning and petitioning the main goverment and also our local council for the build of the secondary site as this was flagged as a problem but we feel is now being swept under the carpet!!

Abbey court is THE ONLY school of its kind in the area, so we will fight and campaign until our children get the school that they desperately need and deserve- phase 2 of the Abbey Court site
