Weʼve raised £150 to help fund for a second hand disabled car for Brian Vernon as he is not entitled to motorbility due to him being over 70

    Story

After 3.5 years we have managed to bring Brian back to his own home. We will soon be starting a conversion that will give him a downstairs bedroom and wet room. The one thing that we need is a second hand disabled car to allow Brian to be to go out.

Brian is not eligible for the motorbility scheme as he is 83 and whilst the fsmily has been fundraising for the last two years they had to spend the £2500 they had raised on putting a H frame ceiling hoist in the lounge.

This now means that they need to start all over again to raise the funds again to allow Brian a chance to get out in the wider world. Each week the family run a mini market stall but as they are now full time, 7 days a week carers they cannot do as much as before and the task feels enormous.

Please spare whatever you can to help us ... nothing is too small

    many thanks

To Sharon and Yvonne. How disheartening after all you have done to get Brian home, to be landed with another burden on your shoulders. We wish you well in your efforts.Olive and John xx
