Story
Brian Ellis's memorial Bench at Ditton Corner
Brian spent 70 years on the River Cam, rowing, coxing, sculling, racing, coaching. He gave so much of his time to so many people across these years teaching them to row and scull. His favourite place on the river was Ditton Corner, so we are raising money to build a bespoke bench where you can sit and have a quiet moment at a beautiful place and those lucky enough to know him, to have a thought about Brian.

6 years agoHello, Thank you everybody so far for your support, we've broken the £500 mark. So we're on our way.....but we need to keep going.... Brian's memorial bench will be bespokely made out of stainless steel by Blacksmith Mike Overall, who also made the Cambridge Folk Festival Memorial Bench at Cherry Hinton Hall. http://www.mikeoverall.co.uk/
