Broadlands Birth Centre is located in the Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton. Our birth centre is in desperate need of refurbishment so that we can continue to support women and their families in one of the most special and exciting times of their lives. The midwives and support workers have been working extremely hard to improve the birth centre and we are undergoing some huge changes, including painting, new furniture and lighting, as well as introducing new things such as aromatherapy sessions and the introduction of our feature walls where new parents can have their babies details included each month.

We still have so much work we would like to do to make this environment even more amazing for families and we have lots of ideas for the coming months, including a new floor, new blinds, more work in our new family lounge and much much more, but to do all of this we need help! The staff that work on Broadlands are passionate about making the birth centre a warm and welcoming environment where women and their families feel safe and relaxed and are able to really enjoy their new additions at this special time in their lives.
