Weʼve raised £363 to to help raise money for a poor family in Bangladesh trying to build a house for themselves. A family of 4 young daughters & a mum.

    Story

Basically in Bangladesh a lot of young girls are kept as servants (willingly & paid) in homes. They are paid low wages which would be the equivalent to £10 a month. One particular group of young girls I know in this situation are struggling to get by. Their dad left their mum as she only had 4 daughters and no sons. Now they are struggling to get by and need to get a house built so that they have somewhere to live. I have already given money towards the cause but they still require more money to get the house completed & to have a bright future. Currently two of the girls are servants. One of them works 12 hours a day in a food company & also studies on the side. The youngest girl goes to school. Please make a donation to help them build a house to live in. They are all below the age of 16. At such a young age they have had tough lives.

The good news is that the house has come a long way but unfortunately the money is running out. The house structure is complete and the roof will be going up in the next month. Inshallah we can raise more money to get the other bits needed (such as kitchen equipment, toilet stuff, furniture etc).

Thanks for all the support. Even now during Ramadan there is still work happening on the house and things are moving along nicely. Please share this page with everyone during this month of Ramadan so that we can reach the target soon Inshallah. No donation is too small because every bit helps us reach this target.

Thanks to everyone's support the eldest girl is feeling less worried about where they will live & how she will be able to pay for the work to be completed on the house. I've increased the target as I realised they do require more money to finish everything.
