Almost 4 years ago, my sister almost died. She kept throwing up, couldn't eat or drink and was hospitalized twice and misdiagnosed. We thought we lost her. She has a hernia as a result of a colectomy. In addition to being painful and uncomfortable, there's a risk that the hernia can become strangulated at any time.
